Teaching Philosophy
Strong teaching leads to steady progress and growing confidence in every student. At the core of my approach is a commitment to placing the learner at the centre of each lesson. This means carefully tailoring sessions to suit individual learning styles and ensuring content is pitched at the right level—providing both support and meaningful challenge.
Engagement is essential, so I take time to get to know my students and understand their interests. By incorporating their passions into lessons, I create a more personal and motivating learning experience. I genuinely enjoy working with young people and bring a friendly, approachable manner to my teaching.

You believe every child is special.
You feel we need to listen to our children when considering their learning.
You want someone who loves to see those light bulb moments of progress.
You want to see confidence bloom.
Something Sensational About Me
I have a love of language whether it's English, German or French. Travel is a passion - I enjoy visiting new places and going on adventures (love YHAs!). I adore the underwater world that scuba diving opens up, but I'm a fair weather diver only. I'm fond of all things theatre, including dance, musicals, drama. I'm a proud mum and enjoy nothing more than a long dog walk along our local canal with my husband and children.
