When I heard we were about to enter our third lockdown, I was really concerned about my son’s learning, and that he would fall behind. I was fortunate enough to stumble on this page whilst looking for tutors that specialise in supporting children with SEN. They were very responsive, and within a couple of days was talking to a potential tutor. Daniel arrived soon after to meet my son and I was so impressed with how he engaged with him, that I was convinced that they were a great match. It’s been almost a month now and despite challenges with his focus, he has adapted his teaching to enable his engagement with the learning, he has also supported him with his literacy, phonics and maths in a way that’s interactive and creative. I am very pleased with the experience and it’s a relief to know that my son is being supported by a competent and resourceful teacher.

Daniel tutor our son tutor for two weeks while we were on vacation in London. My son, age 8, has mild autism and ADD, I was a bit worried how easily will my son connect with Daniel in such a short time and new environment, but Daniel proved to be brilliant in getting a child to bond with him. Daniel was great to channel my son’s attention and keep him present and interested by introducing the topics they had to work on in a very creative way, he was patient and enthusiastic all through the session regardless how my son reacted. Daniel is very creative In introducing academic topics in ways that draw the kids attention quickly and he was able to balance it with keeping my son physically active in topic related activities. Daniel really knew how to handle my son despite his autism and ADD, my son benefited a lot and had fun at the same time.

Daniel has been tutoring our daughter (9) for three months. He has been excellent. He is encouraging, enthusiastic, creative and caring. We have been delighted and our daughter (who is not the most patient of pupils) has been utterly engaged in Daniel’s lessons, with striking results. We cannot recommend him too highly.

I recommend Daniel unreservedly to anyone in need of his type of expertise. He has proved to be an excellent tutor for my 10 year old daughter who is not only on the autism spectrum but has addition complications of dyslexia and dyscalculia. He is patient with her and makes the lessons engaging by bringing general interest and novelty to the tutoring table. Even when undertaking the sessions on line my daughter is able to benefit and progress.

Daniel tutored our 9 year old son who has ASD over the summer holiday period. From the very first meeting Daniel managed to make our son totally comfortable and at ease in his presence. His warm, friendly and engaging approach to teaching meant that our son actually looked forward to Daniel’s weekly sessions with excitement, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Our son is a visual learner, Daniel identified this in the first instance and tailored his sessions accordingly. Each session was followed by a very detailed feedback report which provided us as parents invaluable information about what was covered in the session in a clear snd transparent format. We would have no hesitation in recommending Daniel as a tutor to any family who wants a highly experienced tutor who can provide their child with a fun, engaging learning experience tailored to their own unique style. Daniel has given my dyslexic son so much confidence in his reading, spelling and maths ability. He has made the sessions fun and interesting. Always feeding back to me important information and helpful advise about my son’s needs. Daniel is an excellent tutor and dedicated also – working hard with my son’s school to facilitate an integrated support system and approach to learning. Highly recommended!

Daniel tutored my 7 year old son for 4 moths during a homeschooling period. My son clicked with him immediately and always looked forward to his sessions. Daniel is a very creative teacher and was able to keep my sons focus for a 90 minute session. I am wholly confident to recommend Daniel as an SEN tutor.

Daniel has tutored both my 12 year old son with significant language and attention needs and my chirpy 6 year old daughter both of whom have loved his sessions and look forward to them weekly. He is always positive, patient and inventive at delivering the lessons whether its a hands on activity or move the learning to the floor to keep them engaged throughout. My daughter who was resistant to writing and would previously shy away from such tasks has completely changed her perspective after a few sessions with Daniel who has carefully encouraged her and made the writing fun. She has felt more confident with her school work and less afraid to give things ago due to his persistence with some anxiety inducing topics and bag of tricks to make lessons fun including a robot ball and some smoothie making to name a few. Id recommend Daniel to anyone looking for an all round excellent tutor
