Commonly asked questions:

How will you find a SEN tutor to help my child?

Through discussions with you on the phone or via email, we will gather a thorough understanding of your child’s specific needs. We will then do our very best to match your child to a specialist tutor who has the skills and experience to truly inspire and motivate your child to fully achieve.

What are the benefits of having a SENsational tutor?

Benefits include, but are not exclusive to:

  • You, as parents, knowing that your child is being supported to reach their full potential;
  • Your child’s improved confidence and self-esteem through a personalised tutoring programme that’s created to address your child’s unique needs;
  • Fun and creative sessions to help give your child a love of learning and love of life.

Are the sessions personalised?

Yes, sessions are written especially for your own child and will help them in the areas they need it most. From day one, we’ll put a structured plan in place to support your child’s learning and overall development. Plus, we try to use their interests or hobbies to plan the sessions, keeping your child’s happiness and enjoyment at the heart of everything we do. Our unique method boosts children’s independence whilst powerfully supporting all areas of their development.

Is there a minimum commitment?

We understand that finding the right personality match is where the magic truly happens. There is therefore no minimum commitment or number of sessions, and we will always advise that you book an initial session in the first instance. However, we believe that once you witness the positive difference a SENsational Tutor can make for your child and family, you will never look back.
