About Me

With over 13 years of teaching experience, I am a qualified primary school teacher (QTS) and tutor who is passionate about empowering pupils to overcome barriers to learning and succeed on their own terms. Reflective and patient, I am a diligent, committed professional who cares deeply about providing a high-quality educational experience that will enable students to develop confidence and independence.

My specialist experience lies in supporting children to engage positively with their learning and foster a growth mindset. Over the years, I have taught a range of pupils with SEN including: dyslexia, dyspraxia, GDD, ADD, ADHD, autism, visual and hearing impairments, SEMH, working memory and processing difficulties.  I value each child as an individual and I draw on my specialist training and years of  experience to create bespoke lessons that promote progress. As a lifelong learner, I am passionate about reading – keeping myself abreast of the latest theory and educational research relating to my teaching practice so I can provide the best possible service to my students.
