A great rainy-day summer holidays activity idea; get down to London’s South Bank Centre and you’ll find a programme full of child-friendly workshops and shows for summer holidays. From the creators of Aliens Love Underpants, Monstersaurus is an action-packed show full of magic and mayhem for the whole family. Expect lots of monster noises. The whole family can enjoy the Royal Academy of Arts’ 250th Summer Exhibition, the world’s largest open submission contemporary art show. Attend a range of creative family workshops, explore the galleries and create a collaborative artwork. There are also story telling workshops inspired by the works, 3rd and 10th August from 11am to 12.30pm.
