Funding Options
There are several different ways to pay for private SEN tutoring with SENsational tutors, from privately funded sessions to using an EOTAS personal budget funded by your local authority.
Privately Funded SEND Tutoring
You can pay privately for sessions with any of our specialist SEND Tutors. Self funding puts you in complete control, without needing approval from the local authority or any other third party.
Average pricing for hourly sessions is between £90-£120, and you can contact multiple tutors for a quote using our easy, online tool.

EOTAS Personal Budget
If your child has an EOTAS or EOTIS package, they may be allocated a personal budget for their tuition. This means that you can independently choose tutors or tutoring services, and pay for them using that budget.
Many parents prefer the personal budget route as this allows families to personally select who they think could work best for their child, instead of giving that control to the local authorities. A personal budget is often quicker and easier to arrange, which means that the child receives the specialist support they deserve as soon as possible.
All of our tutors accept students who are funded by a personal budget, just let your tutor know when you enquire, and they’ll make sure to provide you with any documentation you may need.

Funding from Alternative Sources
Some students receive funding from alternative sources, such as insurance companies or legal firms.
At SENsational Tutors we can provide the support you need to find the best tutor for your unique circumstances. If you are receiving funding through an alternative source, simply let your tutor know when you get in touch with them, so they can provide you with any paperwork you may need to make a claim.
