Who We Work With
Some young people need a lot more than a tutor. They need someone who understands why their learning journey has broken down, and how to rebuild it.
We specialise in supporting children and young people whose needs are too complex for a mainstream classroom, and may have already been failed by another provision. Our young people are at the sharp end of the national SEND crisis:
- Those with significant social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)
- Emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA)
- School-based trauma
- Autistic profiles
- Pathological demand avoidance (PDA)
- Profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD)
Many of the young people we work with have tried multiple placements before. Some haven't been in any form of education for months or years. Rather than starting with the curriculum, our qualified teachers start with the relationship. Everything else follows from there.

Commissioning Us
We work across the three main commissioning routes.
Section 19: Alternative Provision
When a child can’t access education due to medical or mental health needs, is at risk of exclusion, or has already been excluded and needs immediate provision while a new placement is sought, you can commission us quickly for specialist one-to-one support.
Section 61: Education Other Than At School (EOTAS)
For young people whose EHCP makes clear that no school setting is currently appropriate, we provide bespoke EOTAS packages tailored to the specific outcomes set out in Section F. We understand that the process of eliminating school options before reaching an EOTAS decision can be lengthy, and we're experienced at working with local authorities like yours at every stage of that journey.
EOTAS packages can include one-to-one tutoring, community-based learning, independent skills development, and wraparound support, all delivered by qualified teachers with specialist SEND experience.

More and more families are choosing to educate their children at home because school isn’t working for their child. We support these families with high-quality, specialist tutoring that meets the young person's needs and gives the family confidence.
What We Offer
Our tutors are qualified (QTS) teachers who have chosen to specialise in supporting young people with the most complex needs.
Bespoke packages
Every placement begins with a detailed consultation with a specialist from our enquiries team, who builds the curriculum, pace, setting and approach around that individual young person. Provision might take place in the family home, in the community, online, or a combination of all three. Trips, independent skills work and activities are specifically designed to rebuild their confidence and engagement.
The one-stop-shop advantage
Because our tutors are qualified teachers with specialist SEND knowledge and experience, we can address multiple sections of an EHCP through a single provider relationship. In addition to academic outcomes, our tutors are experienced in implementing the programmes recommended by speech and language therapists and occupational therapists. This means that young people who aren't currently receiving therapy due to the national shortage of SALT and OT provision can continue to make progress.
Collaborative Multi-Disciplinary Support
We work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to long-term planning. Whether that's supporting a young person towards reintegration into education, preparing for post-16 pathways, or working towards any other outcomes identified in their EHCP.
Specialist matching
Our enquiries team specialists are expertly trained to oversee every placement. When a referral comes in, they take the time to understand the young person's needs, history and personality before identifying the right tutor. Personality fit matters just as much as specialist knowledge.

We know that local authorities are under a lot of pressure. Case loads are high, timelines are tight, and the young people being referred to us often come with complicated histories and family dynamics. Our approach to working with you is designed to make your job easier.

At the point of commissioning, we establish clear expectations: who the named contact is, how attendance is recorded and reported, how progress against EHCP outcomes will be evidenced, and how reviews will be managed. We don't leave these things to chance.
