Sian

I'm Sian, a qualified and experienced teacher, SENDCO, Trauma Informed Practitioner and EOTAS Coordinator. I have experience working with children and young people with a wide range of needs, including SEND, emotional and social difficulties, and those who may find the school environment challenging.

I bring strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills to my work. I am reliable, consistent and trustworthy, and I am able to adapt my approach to meet the individual needs of each young person.

Building strong, trusting relationships is at the heart of my practice. I take the time to understand each child as an individual, recognising their strengths, needs and experiences, and creating a safe and supportive environment in which they can feel understood and valued.

My experience as a SENDCO and EOTAS Coordinator has given me a strong understanding of the SEND system and the importance of working collaboratively with families, schools, professionals and outside agencies. I understand that navigating this system can sometimes feel overwhelming for families.

As an EOTAS Coordinator, I strive to be an extra pair of helping hands for families, providing practical support, clear communication and reassurance. My aim is to make the process feel more manageable while ensuring that the young person remains at the centre of everything we do.
