About me
I am a warm, energetic and highly experienced qualified teacher with over 18 years in education, including senior leadership as a Deputy Headteacher and Head of English, alongside specialist 1:1 SEND and home-based education.
I specialise in supporting children who may be anxious, neurodivergent, lacking confidence, disengaged from learning or finding a traditional school environment difficult to access.
I bring together strong academic expertise with patience, creativity and humour, creating an environment where children feel understood, capable and excited to learn again.

Choose me if…
Choose me if you want more than someone who simply delivers a lesson. I bring an abundance of educational experience, including senior leadership, specialist SEND work and extensive curriculum expertise, but I am equally passionate about understanding the individual child behind the learning need.
Choose me if your child needs to rebuild confidence, trust and enjoyment in learning; if they need someone patient enough to slow down, experienced enough to know when to challenge them and flexible enough to change approach when something isn't working.
Something Sensational About Me
Outside teaching, being a mum is a very important part of my life. I love spending time with my family, travelling and exploring different cultures and places together.
Music and creativity are also a big part of who I am. I play the piano and have completed Grades 1–8 in Piano and Music Theory, and I love singing. I also enjoy painting, theatre, cooking, bike rides and spending time outdoors.
I often find that these interests provide wonderful starting points for connecting with young people. Whether it is music, art, food, travel, sport, a favourite book or simply something a child is fascinated by, I enjoy finding ways to use their world as a route into learning.
