About me
With over 20 years of primary teaching experience—and 15 years specialising in SEND—I am passionate about helping children thrive through personalised, child-centred learning. I am a qualified Specialist Dyslexia Teacher and have supported children with a wide range of needs from EYFS to Year 6. I love teaching English and Maths, and I bring the same enthusiasm to science, where curiosity and a love of nature are nurtured. My approach is practical and fun, whilst responding to a child's needs throughout the session and being sensitive to this. Above all, I find building strong, trusting relationships with children deeply rewarding, and I strive to create learning experiences that nurture confidence, joy and a sense of achievement.

Something Sensational About Me
As a child, I was a school refuser and experienced huge anxiety around going to school. I understand the power of kindness, feeling safe and understood by the adults around you. Now, as an adult, I have worked in schools for 25 years - so am living proof that school anxiety can be overcome.
