About me

I’m Hannah – a warm, friendly and passionate tutor and SEN teacher who values building genuine relationships with the children and families I work with. I have over 10 years’ experience teaching and supporting children with SEND and am also a very proud parent to a little boy with significant SEND, including medical needs and physical disabilities. I currently work as a Lead Teacher for an Autism Base and have taught and supported children with a wide variety of different needs, across Key Stages 1 and 2 in both specialist and mainstream settings.

Skills & Experience

Teaching Philosophy

My teaching philosophy is centered on building strong, trusting relationships and recognising the unique strengths and needs of every learner. I believe that children achieve their full potential when they feel understood, supported, and valued. Through a flexible, child-centered approach, I tailor learning to each pupil's individual profile, interests, and communication style, ensuring lessons are engaging, accessible, and meaningful. By creating a nurturing environment that promotes confidence, regulation, and independence, I enable children with a wide range of needs to thrive both academically and personally.

Something Sensational About Me
