Choose me if…

Choose me if, you are looking for:
– a qualified Economics teacher/instructor who is also a certified IB DP teacher trainer and external examiner for IB and GCSE;
– an experienced TOK tutor;
– an experienced IB DP Business Management tutor.

I tutor A Level and GCSE/IGCSE online and face-to-face. I help students improve their learning skills and their exam skills as well as their study skills. I am passionate about my subjects. I hold MBA with Merits, PGCE and QTS. I believe in empowering students and helping them develop their own passion in the business studies related subjects. I teach from GCSE level, AS Level, A level , IB and postgraduate level as well as Masters level.

Something sensational about me

I am very passionate about supporting and inspiring learners to achieve their academic and personal goals and to create a healthy study and long-life learning. I have taken part in a number of learning initiatives and projects. I am very interested in offering my expertise and skills at your disposal for supporting learners and students in maximizing their learning opportunities.

I have strong commitment to the IB Diploma. I am an IBO examiner for Paper One and Two Higher level as well as an IBO Internal Assessment Moderator since 2009. In 2014, I became an officially certified IB Business Management Workshop Leader and Trainer by the IBO.

I have also acquired the skills to train and coach new and experienced IB teachers as well as introducing them to new teaching methodologies, skills, IB assessment and IB curriculum changes. I have previously worked as an English Department Coordinator and an IGCSE English teacher and I have enjoyed providing support to my colleagues. My aim was to improve faculty performance, the delivery and planning of the core curriculum for each grade, while working individually with teachers to identify strengths and areas to target. Setting up necessary training opportunities, formalising procedures for academic responsibilities (e.g. class management and channels) were also part of this job description. I was totally responsible for overseeing and coordinating all phases of instruction in academic areas: general education; disciplinary majors; the intensive (Students at Risk) and preparatory programmes.
