A passionate and inspiring science teacher for 10+ years, I have had some fantastic success in raising students achievements. I specialise in teaching Physics but can also teach Chemistry. I am a very experienced GCSE, iGCSE and A-level tutor and am able to ensure that all of my students reach their full potential.

I deliver course content with humour and passion, and support students who attend a number of top North London schools. I am able to work closely with students to ensure that they both know the content of the subject but also how to approach questions. I carefully support students to ensure that they have a very through understanding of exam technique, which includes time-management skills. I like to discuss science as well as solve problems and this helps students better understand the subject as well as enjoy it more, that leads to better success rates. Throughout my 10 years teaching I have collected, improved and constructed from scratch many resources intended to get students to think and enhance their learning.

Enquire and curiosity lead to independent learning and better understanding.

My Teaching Philosophy

If you're enjoying what you're studying then your going to work harder for it, understand the topic better and do better in your exams. Studies show that those who like science, recognise problems at first sight and can apply techniques to use to find a solution. This is only possible through practise.

Inquiry and curiosity accelerate learning and lead to a deeper understanding, this needs to be promoted to students.

Choose me if…

– You want context of how science is embroiled into life and work.

– You like exciting experiments and demonstration

Something sensational about me

After my Tsunami experience in 2004, where I was on the beach, but because I had studied Physics I know what was about to unfold and I got people up a hill. I also wake people up that had just landed in Thailand and sleeping off their jet-lag.

Unfortunately not everyone went up the hill and the gentleman next to me at breakfast along with his daughter, did not make it.

I videoed the event and do talks about it in schools and to the general public.
